Birthday Blues by EK 03-Oct-2014 Oh finally, I have been thinking about this for sometime and I said why not. Just recently turned an age that made me miss my Dad in a strange way since he went to heaven on 17th July 2009 which also happened to be his sisters birthday. It was such an overwhelming feeling that i could not think of why or where it came from. I was in a very low mood on the day when you were meant to be the happiest ....at least that is what society tells us...... .I thought to myself how could this be!!My girlfriend had organized dinner for two (later I found out) and we didn't go .She later told me the next day when she took me for dinner elsewhere. I obviously felt bad but had nothing to do about it then.
